Not sure what an ARC Reader is?

An ARC reader is part of an author’s early inner circle.

ARC stands for Advanced Reader Copy. ARC team members receive a free, pre-publication copy of my upcoming book in exchange for reading it early and leaving an honest review around release day. Those early reviews help books gain visibility, momentum, and credibility when they matter most. But no spoilers, please.

If you enjoy being among the first to read a new release and like supporting authors you love, this might be for you.

How It Works

  • Receive the book early
ARC copies are usually sent as digital ebooks before publication.
  • Read before release
You’ll have time to read the book ahead of launch day.
  • Post an honest review
On or shortly after release day, you’ll leave a review on platforms like Amazon, Goodreads, or share your thoughts on social media.

That’s it. Easy peasy.

What ARC Readers Do (and Don’t Do)

  • Do:
    • Read the book early
    • Leave an honest review without spoilers
    • Help generate early buzz and visibility
  • Don’t:
    • Provide detailed editorial feedback
    • Edit, critique, or beta-read the manuscript
    • Receive payment (the book itself is the thank-you)

ARC reviews are not bought or influenced. They’re honest reader opinions, which keeps everything ethical and compliant with review guidelines.

Why ARC Teams Matter

Early reviews help:

  • Build anticipation before and after launch
  • Create social proof for new readers
  • Improve visibility with retailers and recommendation algorithms

In short, ARC readers help a book get its footing in a very crowded world.

If you love thrillers, enjoy reading early, and want to support my work in a meaningful way, I’d love to have you on the team. Sign up here.

Please note: not all applicants will receive an ARC of upcoming books.
